Booksflow

A Leading Platform for the Academic Publishing Innovation

powered by Progettinrete

Booksflow is a modular web platform designed for institutional and academic publishing specifically. It assures a streamlined control of the whole editorial project for monographs, book chapters, journals and articles. Enhancement and dissemination of each product are based on its distribution specifications, both in Open Access and/or in fee-based service. Furthermore, Booksflow gathers all the actors and materials involved in the publishing project around a single environment, ensuring additional implementations in dialogue with our other softwares.

About

Created in 2015 as an online ERP system for the management of editorial projects, Booksflow is a modular platform born from Progettinrete’s experience at the service of University Presses in the field of academic publishing.

The editorial flow is made up of various phases, sometimes managed by dedicated platforms. In the transition from one phase to another, the passage between environments can lead to the deterioration of information. Booksflow responds to the need for compactness, centralization and control of the entire publishing chain for both monographs and journals, according to the features and requirements of each project.
